After decontamination or polishing, the cleaned surface of your car will be smooth, but unprotected. Paint sealing is used as a protective layer between your car’s clear coat and environmental contaminations such as tree resin, rust film, tar, UV radiation and road salt.

Differences of sealing types and properties

You can choose between 3 types of sealing:
- Carnauba wax
+  This natural wax is extracted from the Brazilian carnauba palm. It forms a protective layer on car paints, to which water and dirt bead off.

+ Waxing the car is probably the oldest and best known form of car sealants. The depth and intensity are unrivaled and wax gives the paint a natural shine that is enhanced with subsequent coats.

• Holding period 2 to 6 months
• Low protection against damage

Target group:
Recommended for all types of paint, especially for classic cars and 1-coat finishes.
The holding time is up to 6 months in normal use, or up to a year for vehicles that are properly stored and set in an optimal climate and are almost not moved. 

- Polymer / Nano sealing
Nano-sealing is a synthetic or man-made product, mainly polymer-based.
For this reason, nanosealings are also often referred to as polymer sealings.

• Nano sealants were created to provide more options and more durability over natural waxing.
• Nano-sealing lasts up to 1 year in normal use or up to 2 years for vehicles that are set in an optimal climate (e.g. in a collection) and are almost never moved.
• Low protection against damage

Target group:
Recommended for all modern 2-coat paint types, including classic cars, especially for everyday cars and customers who want a long-lasting sealant.
The holding time is up to 12 months in normal use. 

Glass ceramic sealing
Like nanosealing, ceramic sealants are produced on a molecular level.
The coating forms a chemical bond with the paint and does not just lie on top like wax and polymer sealers.

+ This is the strongest protection of all sealants for your car paint.
+ This naturally leads to a longer shelf life of up to 36 months or 50,000 km
+ The protection increases by applying several layers

• Not suitable for older coatings and generally single-coat coatings
• Elaborate to remove

Target group:
For customers who want maximum protection but no PPF, the Level 3 seal below PPF provides the best protection.

Recommended for all modern 2-coat paint types, especially for everyday cars and customers who want a long-lasting sealant. The service life with multiple coats can be extended up to 70'000 km.
